LA's Green Streets, Part II

New, 4 comments

Last week, Mark Gold, president of Heal the Bay, wrote about the lack of green street planning in Los Angeles, and now Paula Daniels, commissioner for the Board of Public Works in Los Angeles, and head of the Green Streets Committee responds with a list of green street projects (both existing and planned), including a pilot project at Oros Street and planned designs at Riverdale Street. Additionally, she writes of her own Green Alleys subcommittee, one of the more interesting subcommittees we've ever heard of. [Spouting Off]
