Another good bitch fest about parking. An outraged reader sends in the following email: "The City of LA has installed parking meters along Little Santa Monica in Westwood/West LA, and I am infuriated. There are very, very few commercial operations in this area, and the parking spaces are almost exclusively used by the residents around here (like me) who do not have garage or otherwise-assigned parking. To top it off, the meters run until EIGHT PM every day except Sunday. Why are they not offering parking permits to people in the neighborhood? And how do we go about getting a permit structure in place? [See: Exhibit A] This is just another revenue generator for a spendthrift city government. Responses from readers appreciated."
