ConstructionWatch: Angels Knoll's Zig-Zaggy Floor is On

New, 12 comments

It was back in May that word came that Angels Knoll Plaza, that plaza near Hill Street in Downtown was getting new benches and trees, as well as a zig zaggy-looking plaza "floor" designed by artist Jacci Den Hartog. All part of the Community Redevelopment Agency's (CRA) plans for beautifying Los Angeles, work was supposed to be done by June 30. But work wasn't done by June, or July, or even August. But on a lunchtime visit to see the goats at Angels Knoll park (more on that later), we noticed workers putting in the floor. Maybe it's less zig-ziggy and more zebra-y?
