Niche Chasers

In a market like this, it helps to have a gimmick. The real estate website inman.com has an article about real estate niches, where agents chase specific groups or demographics—there are profiles on an agent with nudist clients, an agent who works with pro-ballers, a star-f@#ker agent in Beverly Hills, and a New York actor agent threatening to move to LA. Valerie Fitzgerald, the BH agent and former model, contradicts the article's point a bit by saying, "I don't think it's good to have a niche because you are limiting yourself. I have that old-fashioned idea: By keeping your list of clients open you can build a longer list of clients." Genius—how about sticking to the rich people niche? [inman.com]
