Last year, a reader named Victor Bishop left some frustrated-sounding comments on the site about how his rental building at the corner of Gower and Fountain was being torn down. Besides losing his home, Bishop lost out on that $17,080 relocation fee, a new fee given to anyone who was being evicted for condo development, because the developers "sneakily" filed before the date the new ordinance went into effect. Anyway, judging from an old Google image (after jump), it looks like a home and a building are being torn down. Sorry, Victor. God knows where you live now.
