"Downtown landowner and developer Meruelo Maddux Properties has secured an $84 million loan to pay for the remaining construction of its 35-story residential trophy tower in South Park, 717 Ninth." Did anyone know there had been a snag in financing for the downtown project? The Downtown News' Ryan Vaillancourt reports that construction on the project had "slowed to a crawl" in recent month.
