RFK Park Breaks Ground

New, 2 comments

Coverage of Wednesday's ground-breaking of the Robert F. Kennedy memorial park at the site of the old Ambassador Hotel reveals that more than 200 people turned out for the ceremony, and most people didn't know much about the man. "The park hasn't been formally named yet, but a model put on display at the site Wednesday proclaimed it "Robert F. Kennedy Inspiration Park." Paul Schrade, a Kennedy family friend, said that is what the family would like." A rendering of the new 1/3 acre pocket park is here. [Daily Breeze]
