Bold NFL Prediction: "We are going to have a team here next September"

New, 26 comments

Reporters Jennifer McLain and Ben Baeder of the San Gabriel Valley Tribune report that Los Angeles could have professional football as soon as 2009.

"Majestic Realty Vice President John Semcken also said he believes there is a possibility two NFL teams could wind up playing in the $800 million stadium Roski wants to build in Industry. "We are going to have a team here next September," Semcken said Tuesday afternoon." While the new Los Angeles football stadium in the City of Industry is being built, the NFL team would play for two seasons in the Rose Bowl. Semcken went on to add that seven teams have "expressed interest" in coming to the new LA stadium. Woo-hoo, football!
