LA Observed breaks the "Joe Torre blogging story" open--it looks like the whole thing is part of a State Farm ad deal. In addition to the blog, there are a whole bunch of videos of Joe doing stereotypical LA activities. LAObserved isn't a fan: "No, the saddest part is that Joe Torre was talked into carrying a Paris Hilton pooch in Beverly Hills with the Dodgers struggling to eke into the playoffs." But the Joe-doing-yoga video is pretty good. Backstory: Everyone got excited last week when it was revealed that Torre had a blog on the Dodgers web site. [LA Observed]
