These are terrible times for developers, but listen up office managers: Universal Lofts, that 67-unit development wedged on the land between the 101 and Cahuenga Boulevard, is now advertising its units as potential office space. Ads in the Los Angeles Times last Sunday indicated that the four-level townhomes can be used as office space and/or rentals or rent to own units. A call to the sales office confirmed the news. Originally, this project was going to sell the homes; rents start at $4,250. [Curbed Staff]
