As noted this morning, signs at the 110/101 interchange - Wilshire/4th/6th Street exit, received a brutal tagging early today or late yesterday from taggers that not only spray painted the signs, but also blacked out the signage entirely (more pics on the Curbed flickr page). The idiots didn't even bother to tag anything good, just the swirly mess of their tagger names. So what happens if they're caught? Per the new state law, taggers could be required to clean up the signs and keep the signs clean for a year, however, per the Times, "A judge could decide not to order a tagger to risk his life by keeping graffiti off a sign that hangs over the freeway."
