Not exactly sure how a new home in the Hollywood Hills can already be considered iconic and a landmark, but the steep price hints at lofty ambitions. This five-bedroom, 4.75-bath features a main house with a "visceral quality that is rarely experienced in homes. The interplay between the interior & exterior is captivating. The progressive aesthetic continues w/ separate guest house that includes gym/office, & home theater." We've had a few visceral reactions to homes, not all of them good, though we'll admit this one is pretty lovely (albeit ridiculously expensive). The teardown that used to stand on this site was last sold in Feb 2005 for $1.73 million. Today's asking price: $6.35 million.
