Amid all that chatter on how to improve the Sunset Junction area, there's an upcoming hearing on September 3rd for any and all Silver Lake supporters/opponents of a proposed mixed-use development that would offer 35 condominiums, two commercial units, and 85 parking spots at 3400-3404 West Sunset Blvd at Micheltorena Street. And courtesy of Killefer Flammang, the firm behind all those downtown adaptive re-use projects, here's a look at the grape-hued project. Guessing that is the view from Micheltorena? According to the minutes of a Silver Lake Neighborhood Council meeting back in October, there was some concern among community members about the height; indeed, the flier for the hearing notes that the developer would like to build to 54 feet in lieu of 45 feet, and to expand floor to area ratios (2.5:1 Floor Area Ratio (FAR) in lieu of the 1.5:1 FAR permitted in the zone). How about it, Silver Lake? UPDATE: It's the view from Micheltorena across Sunset
