Curbed LA PriceSpotter Big Reveal

New, 18 comments

PriceSpotter asked you to do something rather easy - tell us the price of a property that sold. You all did horribly. We gave you a property that sold in April of this year, and you tried to give us what you thought the SALE price was. Now the answer to Friday's Relaxation in the Franklin Hills...

Sale Price: $1.225 million
Listing: The 3 BD, 2 BA home on Evans Street in the Franklin Hills (past the Shakespeare Bridge, around St. George and Franklin Ave.) sold on April 16th, 2008 (per Trulia). Per the listing: "Hardwood floors, designer colors, systems updated. Ivanhoe Elementary School. Wired for smart house. With excellent indoor/outdoor flow you have the perfect L.A. lifestyle." It actually sold for $25k above listing!

This week only guesser Gray #17 came within a stone's throw, with a guess $10k above the sale price. The lot of you guessed an average of $182,289 below the sale price. (Guesses in the billions were disqualified). Thank you, please play again.
