EaterTastings: Blue Palms Brewhouse In Hollywood, Coffee Bean Relocated, Millions of Milkshakes Opens

The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...

[Blue Palms Brewhouse by Alen Lin]

HOLLYWOOD: Eater takes a peek inside Blue Palms Brewhouse, now open next to the Music Box @ The Fonda. What to expect: 24 beers on tap, classic American food, and no velvet rope.

VENICE: Is Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf going through a Starbucks-style pullback? The closing of the Coffee Bean on Windward shouldn't be cause for alarm. It's just relocating to Lincoln Blvd.

WEST HOLLYWOOD: Milkshakes are totally the new fro-yo. Or at least, that's what Millions of Milkshakes on Santa Monica Blvd is hoping as it opens this weekend, with celebrity-themed shakes (we don't quite get the connection either). But they seem to take their shakes seriously, with 100 possible ingredients, "from Toblerone to Bazooka bubblegum to tamarind candy."
