Bob's Big Boy on Wilshire may be gone to make way for a BMW dealership, but that doesn't mean you can't take a piece of the Big Boy home with you. The creepy boy in suspenders is for sale on eBay: "Real Bob's Big Boy statue from recently closed Bob's restaurant. Approx 7 feet tall, on a base 4 feet by 4 feet. Older 1950's-style Bob is the "Suspender" Bob, not the "Hamburger" Bob. Used, of course, and shows some signs of wear- a couple of scrapes, some re-painted areas (see pictures). Overall in very good condition. Originally outside, it had been the target of too many pranks so in the 1990s it was moved inside. Despite the size of the statue, it is quite light-weight. Three lads were able to pick it up and run with it... one of the reasons I suspect that it was moved inside.
Bob is currently the biggest, strangest garden gnome in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. I am not packing him up and shipping him. This one is a come-and-get-it sort of affair. He arrived in an open pick-up truck, to the amusement of my neighbors, and can easily go the same way."
