The Bay Area has managed to get their half-cent sales tax for transit on their ballot, while ours flounders like a fish gasping for air. NoCal will vote on whether to build out Bay Area Rapid Transit to the South Bay (San Jose area) come November, while SoCal has to cross its fingers that our bureacrats get it together in time for us to do the same.
