"I know Curbed has been following the neighborhood council elections, with the troubles in Silver Lake, Woodland Hills, and Echo Park. I thought you might like to add Griffith Park to the list. [Mark Mauceri] ran as a write-in and beat the current council president by three votes. Now an appointed council member is filing a challenge claiming she (and four others) never received their mail-in ballots, and should therefore be allowed to vote -- presumably for the council president that appointed her.
