Goodbye Dance Clubs, Hello Lexington Project

New, 60 comments

Proposed for 6677 Santa Monica Boulevard, The Lexington, first mentioned last fall, is a 786-unit, mixed use project that would rise on the site of the former Circus Disco and Arena. Also, this area is a huge tranny hang-out. You get lost, trannies! And while some parts of this look quite familiar--hullo two-tone desert hues--there is a planned walkable alley part of this project that is supposed to attractive. UPDATED

Listed on city's planning department web site as going through its Environmental Impact Report phase, there will be "approximately 22,200 square feet of community-serving retail and restaurant space" in addition to the condos.

More: "The residential uses would be located within six buildings ranging from five to six stories in height and would include open space and recreational amenities."

"The community-serving retail and restaurant uses would be located on the ground level along the Santa Monica Boulevard frontage. Additionally, a three level parking facility, providing approximately 1,612 spaces within two subterranean levels and one ground level, would be located below the residential uses. To accommodate the proposed project, existing structures on the site would be removed."
