The New York TImes Wheels blog mentions the ongoing exhibition from Japanese artist Yutaka Sone at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Sone's work includes miniature carved marble freeway interchanges, including the 110/105 interchange, pictured left. "Mr. Sone, who moved to Los Angeles nine years ago, regards the merging of Los Angeles freeways as the city’s key landmarks, as towers or domes are for Paris or London." Sone's work has also been featured locally at MOCA and will be featured as part of the "Badlands: New Horizons in Landscape" show in North Adams, Mass through April 09.
