Hotel Palomar Is Zebra-y

The NY Times checks in with West LA's Hotel Palomar which opened in May, and checks out feeling satisfied: "Picture a W hotel, with lower prices and a sense of humor. ..Hybrid vehicles receive a 25 percent discount on parking...During the hotel’s first six months, most rooms are $229, said the general manager, John Douponce.." And on the rooms: "My room had bits of zebra stripes, alligator skin and paisley (on the headboard, the dresser and the pillow shams, respectively). Not especially large, it nonetheless felt comfortable and was well appointed." [New York Times]
