As of last Saturday, the construction site for that 36-unit townhome development on Echo Park Avenue looked like it was going to give birth and deliver a big cement block to someone walking by. Yellow tape was being used to rein in the dirt, poles--and is that a corn stalk?--but the whole scene seemed dicey. Watch your heads, kids.
