EaterTastings: 8oz. Opens in Hollywood, R+D Kitchen in SM, Culver City Pacifico's Closes

The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...

[8oz signage by Eater LA]

HOLLYWOOD: While Table 8 moves a few blocks west, Govind Armstrong's more casual 8 oz. burger bar opened this week in the former Table 8 space. In addition to burgers (natch), the menu features "deviled eggs, fried olives stuffed with sausage, kobe beef corn dogs with purple mustard, [and] salads."

SANTA MONICA: No one on Montana Ave seems to care if the food at the soon-to-debut R+D Kitchen will be any good, they're just happy to finally have a restaurant with a full liquor license again. The restaurant opens for lunch and dinner today.

CULVER CITY: What's this? A restaurant actually closing in Culver City? We thought we'd never see the day. Mexican restaurant Pacifico's seems gone for good, with no phone, no website, no liquor license, and a sign on the door that says it's closed for "remodelation."
