SILVER LAKE: A home in the hills of Silver Lake for $409,000? Is it close (hack, hack) to the freeway? Either way, here you go, young diesel Mercedes-driving, black lab-toting, messy-haired couple. Go grab it. It's a two bedroom on a 3,266-square foot lot. UPDATE: Ah, there's the rub. Zillow puts it at 624 square feet. [Redfin]
WEST HOLLYWOOD: New condo alert. And a project that has eluded us, this building is on Fuller Avenue and it's offering a three-bedroom listed at $599,000. You've seen far worse in terms of finishes and interiors. [Redfin]
HANCOCK PARK: PriceChop! A reader points out that $6.9 million Hancock Park house--mentioned on the site before--that once belonged to Francis Ford Coppola (maybe) first dropped by $600,000, and is now down a total of $1.1 million to 5.8 million. "It's still overpriced by about $2 million dollars (or possibly $3 million...also the realtor credits the wrong architect. I'm not sure who designed it, but it wasn't the Architect L.G. Scherer. He designed the house next door (the amazing Spanish mansion owned by TV guy Len Hill that's landmarked in the national registry), and never worked in the Tudor style." God our readers are good.
