That Venice dog aka the two-bedroom at 1028 Palms that hit the market for $950,000 last winter (and then suffered a few pricechops) has been taken off the market. Not sold, mind you. It's just off the market. But do not fret for here's a fresh Venice tear-down. Located at 1231 Abbott Kinney (west of Venice Blvd and hence, in the more desirable pocket of hip Abbott Kinney), this three-bedroom home on a 3,400 square foot lot is listed at $1.8 million. The listing notes that "it's drive by only" and the agent tells us the sellers are required to take down that billboard on the lawn when the home is sold. Thank goodness.
