Today's Dwell on Design home tours hit downtown; one of the stops offered a look inside the Hellman Building on Main Street. Of all the six apartments/condos on the downtown tour, this unit probably had the most distinctive layout (but not sure how it'd be having to climb those stairs to the bedroom every night). A press representative for Dwell said this was the residence of downtown developer Tom Gilmore, while one of the tour guides indicated that lofts like this in the building rent for $2,200 a month, which seemed rather inexpensive. Neither piece of information could be confirmed.
