EaterTastings: Santa Monica Goes French, Roscoe's Expands, Suzpree Location Revealed

New, 7 comments

The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...

SANTA MONICA: The Westside is enjoying an embarassment of French riches this week. First, Alain Giraud's Anisette (seen above) finally opened for breakfast (with lunch to follow soon - possibly this week), then La Botte Deli for lunch.

LOS ANGELES: The chicken-and-waffles cometh. Roscoe's is looking to expand, with five more locations planned, including Pasadena, Long Beach and Downtown. Soon you won't be able to swing a cat in LA without hitting some chicken.

BEVERLYGROVE: Eater uncovers the new location for Suzanne Tracht's upcoming pan-asian restaurant, Suzpree, on Beverly and Ogden, right behind CBS and the Grove, and just a few blocks from Jar. Expect a spring/summer 2009 debut.
