For the next four weeks, two blocks of First St. (between Breed and Matthew streets) will be shut down because of construction for the Gold Line Eastside Extension, according to the Daily News. "Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Fourth Street, while westbound traffic will be detoured to Cesar E. Chavez Avenue, Metro officials said."
