Hey, Luckman Plaza, How's That Reskinning Going?

New, 6 comments

Just so know you what you'll be looking at as you whiz along Sunset at night: Luckman Plaza, the 14-story commercial building erected by Charles Luckman in 1964, is getting a little work done courtesy of local firm Kanner Architects. A reader alerted us last August that the "reskinning" was underway, and while these renderings are new to us, it's not clear if these renderings accurately show the penthouse that the Soho Club, that members only club, will be moving into. (Those people standing outside aren't smoking, so they can't be British.) Meanwhile, Kanner's web site drops some more details about the project: 14,00 square feet of retail/restaurant space is coming. UPDATE: Eater has the restaurant info. Images via Kanner Architects
