On the Racked: Staples Center Shirt, Marc Jacob's Windows, Super Whole Foods

New, 17 comments

The latest store info, retail gossip and sidewalk scenes from street-obsessed Racked LA, the newest member of the Curbed family.

LOS ANGELES: Genius, writes Racked LA of this find. Via the Lisanti Quarterly: "Locally, the 'douchebag neck' style can be seen in action on Melrose Ave., around the bar at the Saddle Ranch, or on the first floor of Staples Center during a Lakers game." It's true, why can't you dudes just leave your shirts be? Why you gotta fancy it up? Photo via Lisanti Quarterly

MELROSE: Is designer Marc Jacobs ever going to wake up and think, "Maybe that was just one tattoo too many?" All the photos of the Marc Jacobs windows on Melrose Place and Melrose Avenue; check out all the tats, including a close-up of MJ's arm with his Simpsons alter ego tattooed on his bicep.

WEST 3RD ST: Some sweet construction photos of the Whole Foods at West 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue, currently expanding from 29,928 square feet to 41,055 square feet. A section will house beer and wine sales, as well as be the area for wine tasting. Racked notes that size is "ginormously delicious."
