Back in January, the Daily Bruin wrote about Zeta Psi frat house at 611 Gayley Ave, which has remained vacant since 2005 (the Zeta Psi brothers live in an apartment complex and had considered moving back in, but dropped the idea after a tree fell into the property). Meanwhile, rats had moved in, and there were reports that homeless people were starting fires in the structure. Well, an update from a reader. And why not? A quote from "Animal House": "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son."
Demo actually started [yesterday] and here's the proof. 611 Gayley is coming down and Zeta Psi is planning to build a multi-million dollar home for the actives at UCLA. To respond to I Like Building's, "...but they would rather not do anything and let it rot," Looks like ZETE gets the last laugh we actually are doing something with it."
