Small Steps At Venice's Pioneer Bakery Building Site

In January, we visited the site for Pioneer Bakery Building, a new mixed-used development on Rose and Fifth in Venice that promised 70 condo residences. This was a big story because the original Pioneer Bakery people sold the place, but were promised that they could re-open a new bakery on the site. Since January, tank-looking things, err, storage containers, have arrived. But not much else is happening, which should make those who were against the development quite happy. UPDATE: No, the storage containers have been there all along.
