A presser from the Westside Urban Forum (WUF) announces that The Skid Row Housing Trust has received the Westside Prize, "the key honor awarded to a Los Angeles-based developer" each year by WUF. "Skid Row Housing Trust has successfully built 1,278 units of needed supportive housing that often employs outstanding architecture. Any developer would consider their track record—twenty residential developments—as successful." The rest of the prizes will be doled out at the 2008 Westside Prize luncheon this Friday (tickets available!), with special appearances by Zev Yaroslavsky and his mustache. [WUF]
