The Downtown News is reporting there may be a solution to the budget deficit on Olvera Street on the horizon. The city has approved a 5-year lease for Camacho's Inc to open a coffee house at 103 Paseo de la Plaza. While the rent is below-market, there is a profit-sharing component that can bring the price per square foot up to market rents. The city is hoping profit-sharing can become a template for other businesses in the area. [Downtown News]
