As area businesses stand to make so much $$$$ from the gay wedding industry, city officials have just launched a web site to handle the onslaught of tourists and all their dollars. Via the site: "LA INC has created a one-stop shop at www.discoverlosangeles.com where visitors can now find the information they need to make wedding plans and travel arrangements." The site lists SEVEN RECOMMENDED hotels, which are deemed to be gay-friendly and have "developed criteria of employment policies, services and support that specifically accommodate the gay and lesbian community." The hotels are: Hilton Checkers Los Angeles, Hotel Angeleno, Sofitel Los Angeles, Sheraton Universal, Warner Center Marriott Hotel, Four Points by Sheraton LAX. [Discover LA]
