The latest dish from Eater LA, Curbed's hedonistic eating and drinking blog...
BRENTWOOD: Eater checks out the space (pictured above) for the upcoming Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne restaurant. While we still don't know the name or concept, we do know work is underway on the former Hamburger Hamlet space, and the architect is likely Randall/Baylon, who did the Abbey and Here.
MARINA DEL REY: The sushi Nazi heads to the beach, loosens up a bit, and plans to conquer the sushi chain business. Why should Katsuya have all the glory? Sushi Nozawa owner Kazunori Nozawa is opening SugarFISH in the MDR on June 23 and plans for a mall expansion across America. One spicy tuna roll at a time.
CENTURY CITY: Also debuting next week, Vegas-style, Cheesecake Factory-owned RockSugar (not to be confused with the aforementioned SugarFISH, which is not to be confused with Paperfish, or Luckyfish) in the Westfield Mall. Expect a "family-style menu with specialties from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and India."
