WESTWOOD: Photographer and nanogenarian Julius Shulman Shulman is still working. Following up on his show at the Getty, his exhibit at the Central Library, and the release of his three-volume Taschen book, Modernism Rediscovered, Shulman is now the subject of the documentary film Visual Acoustics. Narrated by Dustin Hoffman, and showing at the LA Film Festival, Franklin Ave informs us "The June 22 screening of 'Visual Acoustics' at the Landmark Theatre is sold out, but according to the site, there are still tix available for the June 25 show, at the Hammer Museum's Billy Wilder Theater. LOS ANGELES: Even though condo project Rob Clark got a good pr placement in the Los Angeles Times, the development still needs to move units. A reader forwards an invite--mailed to prospective buyers--for a party this weekend; "Look for the gang poolside," says the flier. May we suggest going if the weather warms up. [Curbed Staff]
