The real estate crash has translated into days of wine and roses for cable networks like HGTV and TLC, finds the New York Times. Shows like Designed to Sell, House Hunters, My House Is Worth What?, and Date My House (don't ask) are finding thousands of viewers. Greenlighting some of these shows is an LA television executive who himself can't sell his home. Network mainstays like Flip This House (on A&E) and Flip That House (on TLC) are still on, but now feature not-so-happy endings. [NY Times]
