PriceChopped Enough? Gregory Ain "Fixer" in Mt. Washington

New, 18 comments

This two-bedroom Gregory Ain fixer in Mt. Washington is starting to approach pricing reality. Maybe. A protege of mid century architects Rudolph Schindler and Richard Neutra, Ain is probably best known for the Dunsmuir Flats and his work on the Mar Vista Housing Development. It's not often one of his single family homes comes on the market. Yet this one has been sitting on the market for over six months, with six pricechops as well. First listing was for $875,000; today's asking price is now $649,500. We hear the house needs work - and plenty of it. Has it been slashed enough?
