Hard-working Silver Lakers are trying to make parks out of asphalt triangles, reports the Silver Lake News. Last month, community members were asking for suggestions on transforming Parkman Triangle, described as a "small parcel of concrete/asphalt" near Silver Lake Blvd. and Parkman Ave. into a park. Secondly, a team may be "planning and implementing improvements" for Maltman Square, near Effie Street and Crestmont Avenue.
