On the Racked: Robots on Robertson, Glendale Galleria Soldiers On, Pam's Undies!

The latest store info, retail gossip and sidewalk scenes from street-obsessed Racked LA, the newest member of the Curbed family.

ROBERTSON: Oooh, who doesn't love them some shiny new robots. The H. Lorenzo eco-concept boutique HLNR on Robertson Boulevard, south of Melrose, was supposed to open last week and there are about ten robots inside and outside the shop. Designed by Oliviero Baldini, the robots were created for an exhibition in Italy, and yes, they are for sale.

GLENDALE: Hung over on the Americana at Brand coverage? Pound some orange Gatorade and listen up: Racked LA follows a report filed by blogger Franklin Avenue about how packed the Galleria was this weekend! Of course, there are the workhorse stores like Gap and Banana Republic. And you can park at the Galleria for free.

MALIBU: A follow-up on that Pamela Anderson estate sale. Not only did she sell her bike, a bucket of shells, but Anderson was also selling her lingerie. Any red bathing suits on the racks? And judging from the photo, it doesn't look like the event drew a lot of guys.
