HOLLYWOOD: Why mess with success? Steven Arroyo is finally giving the people what they want. When Happi Songs failed to sing, and blink-and-you-miss-it Goat also went belly up, Arroyo is finally opening a third branch of his success Cobras y Matadors in the space on La Brea tonight.

SANTA MONICA: Alain Giraud's French brasserie Anisette still isn't open, and possibly adding to the delay -- chef de cuisine Brendan Collins has already moved on. Still, the restaurant may be opening this weekend. Potentially. Possibly. Maybe.

LARCHMONT: The stroller moms on Larchmont will need to wait a little longer for their cupcake fix. Crumbs didn't open as planned this week, but kindly gave away 1,000 cupcakes anyway. If you missed the cupcake commotion this week, don't fret. Crumbs will be doing it again when the bakery finally opens.
