Curbed Reader Comment Round-Up

New, 7 comments

The best posts usually originate in our comments. To give appreciation to our amazing (and sometimes angry) commenters we feature their broad strokes of wisdom in a tidy comment roundup.

1) LA's First Shipping Container Home Hits Market: "Container projects are eco friendly and the day will come when these projects are commonplace. Anyone who builds homes with wood/cuts down a tree, knowing that this alternative is available, is detracting from the planet. Be responsible and recycle - try to clean up the mess that previous generations have created and stop complaining while you live in your wood framed house."

2) Construction Watch: 801 North and Cherokee Lofts "These buildings are "good-fits" in a truly a walkable area. The Melrose District is nearby, Whole Foods up the block, Fairfax flea market on weekends and the Grove is a 7 minute walk away, so there will be plenty to access w/o the vehicle. Also, the WeHo landmark of Shorty's Barber Shop is in between the two buildings, so these hipsters will have the latest and sharpest styles and may even get a drag-queen to do-your-do."
