On the Racked: Bikes Are Selling, Pinkberry at Beverly Center, Alberta Ferretti Coming

New, 16 comments

The latest store info, retail gossip and sidewalk scenes from street-obsessed Racked LA, the newest member of the Curbed family.

WEST 3RD: Derringer Cycles, had to temporarily close its shop as a result of "a large volume of orders." That's how good the bike business is! Derringer describes its bikes as a "neo-classical interpretation of a 1920's era board track racing motorcycle," which "can be pedaled as a traditional bicycle, propelled via engine power, or pedaled with the assistance of engine power."

WEST 3RD: Pinkberry commeth. Actually, doesn't it seem like it has been around for like 10 years at this point? Old friend Pinkberry has plywood up at the Beverly Center, steps from Charles David, Macy's and Sephora.

MELROSE: Attention Alberta Ferretti fanatics: The first US flagship store will open this summer. The boutique is opening at 8626 Melrose Avenue, at Huntley Drive in West Hollywood. Expect Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti and Alberta Ferretti Girls clothing, shoes and accessories.
