Another day, another outraged reader. "Seriously, $1.4 million and a vinyl couch and artificial grass on the back porch? This is the end of civilization. Well, no, it is LA in 2008." Located on Ashcroft Avenue in tony West Hollywood, this is a three-bedroom, two bath; some choice words off the listing: "Entertainers delight! Big open living, dining, & kitchen combination! Light & bright. Vaulted beamed ceiling in living room.Quality & tasteful remodel." In its defense, the real estate agent tells us the fake grass--seen on those steps--and couch have since been removed. Does that make it any better? We see a little hope here.
