After witnessing a police horse drop a load at Washington and Ocean Front Walk--and then watching a woman step in said load--blog Yo Venice! posted a paragraph of the Los Angeles County Code that states that it's unlawful for a person to leave "pet waste on any public property or any private property that is not his or her own."
