Photos of last weekend's two-hour performance art piece at a Santa Fe Springs car dealership by Vaseline-lover Matthew Barney are finally hitting Flickr, and while it was a performance in front of several hundred invitation-only guests, what exactly happened is unclear. But the centerpiece was a 1967 Chrysler Imperial, which was destroyed, the Los Angeles Times hated the performance, and cockroaches, beetles and crickets were released. Also, some people got a little hurt and there was the token "menstrual shroud." Take it all in. [Via Flickr user shweool]
