Toddlers in Long Beach may not care much about high-rise condos, but they will be keenly interested in news of a playground expansion--and the "tot lot" at Livingston Park Belmont Heights is getting bigger, reports the Press-Telegram. In addition to new zones for older children, the park is getting "additional benches, picnic tables, a tricycle path and stroller parking - something that's at a premium at the Tot Lot." The new expansion, which cost $300,000, breaks ground July 12 and should be done by August. [Rendering via Livingston Tot Lot]
