Thinning the Herd

New, 3 comments

Beginning today, live tigers will be released along Sunset Blvd at rush hour to drag away a select number of drivers, all part of an effort to cull the traffic herd. No, not really. But Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's latest "Tiger Team," announced in January to help traffic, is now beginning to patrol the city, and the fourth "Tiger Team" will begin patrolling Sunset, "ticketing illegally parked cars and using new technology to scan license plates for stolen vehicles," reports KTLA. The first "Tiger Team" began working on the Wilshire Blvd in June 2006. [KTLA]
