The W Hotel rising at Hollywood and Vine came at a heavy price: the Selma Avenue office of billboard starlet Angelyne was treated to the wrecking ball. The busty blond got the last laugh though, reports the LA Times. Her $10 autographs and $35 posters were imprinted with the now-defunct Selma address and Angelyne claimed it would cost her $400,000 to adjust the materials. In the end, Angelyne got the W's developer, Dallas' Gatehouse Capital Corp., to agree to forward all her mail once a week so she could keep the old address. Ange also received undisclosed compensation for having to move all her fan materials to a storage facility. Here's hoping she got enough money to keep her in pink corvettes for the rest of her life.
